For anyone who was following our blog, we apologize for the disruption of services. Our laptop died, and with it our pictures and ability to blog. We have tried to recover it since we are back home, but it is permanently gone. We have all the pictures of our trip from November 5th on, and will be posting the blogs for those days, over the next few days.
November 2nd we spent a second wonderful day with Ariel in Hong Kong. We started the day with a great breakfast of congee in a tiny ;ocal restaurant. We then took the MTR (subway) to a delightful garden and nunnery. We visited a temple and after a delightful lunch, visited the flower market and bird park. They sell birds and bird supplies at the bird garden, but people also take their birds for a walk in their cages so they they can get outside and visit with the other birds. It was then time to say goodbye to Ariel for a wonderful two days in Hong Kong. We encourage all the relatives to visit her, she is a great tour guide, and really knows the city. We sailed away as Hong Kong’s light show began. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHWmFkpondw The tall buildings that line the harbor light up in the night with fantastic colors and patterns, a real treat and sail away sendoff.
November 3rd and 4th were sea days.
